Annand is a father, husband, engaged citizen, and optimist. He is a thoughtful and caring leader who loves getting curious about the messy grey areas where creative paths forward are waiting to be found.
His experiences have shaped him into a natural bridge-builder. Through his work, he brings a holistic perspective that encourages collaboration and helps organizations think and act in new ways for greater impact. He cares deeply about bringing together many voices and doing the hard, digging-in work of uncovering what holds complex challenges in place. He believes that through this process, something important is discovered: our collective human capacity and know-how to build solutions that shift and transform systems for the better.
For Annand, fund development is about forging relationships and partnerships that feel authentic and meaningful. It's about connecting around shared values, hopes, and dreams, and then working together to make what is desired a reality.
He is motivated every day to help create a world where more people experience belonging, care, and dignity.
When he isn't working, you'll find Annand laughing with his wife and two teenage daughters, cooking epic dinners for absolutely no reason, enjoying an early morning round of golf, and yelling at the Edmonton Oilers to shoot the puck.
