Bruno Amarantes

Outreach Coordinator

Bruno brings a background in psychology alongside frontline experience supporting children, youth, and adults in community settings. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and has worked as a university Teaching Assistant. Through his frontline and academic work, he has developed strong skills in clinical documentation, incident reporting, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). He has also contributed to applied projects such as designing practical symptom checklists and tools that support everyday assessment and decision-making.

Bruno has supported recovery-oriented programming, strengthened incident reporting practices, and worked closely with families and caregivers to support better outcomes for individuals. His work focuses on creating clear, practical tools, including assessment items, reporting templates, and community-facing content that makes psychological concepts more accessible for teams and the broader public.

As a trauma-informed, strengths-based leader, Bruno approaches program delivery with a focus on dignity, inclusion, and supporting the people who do the work. He values collaboration, transparency, and practical innovation, and is motivated by helping staff feel confident and supported in their roles. In his position, he contributes to service quality, mentors frontline staff, and advocates for improvements that keep person-first outcomes at the centre of the work.
