Bruno possesses a foundational background in psychology combined with practical, frontline experience supporting children, youth, and adults within community environments. Holding a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and possessing experience as a university Teaching Assistant, he has undergone practical training in clinical documentation, incident reporting, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI). Furthermore, his expertise includes applied work in designing symptom checklists for assessment tools. He has contributed to recovery-oriented programming, enhanced incident reporting safety protocols, and collaborated directly with families and caregivers to optimize individual’s outcomes.
His contributions encompass the development of pragmatic assessment items and reporting templates that have enhanced clarity for interdisciplinary teams, as well as the creation of community-oriented content that renders psychological concepts accessible. He takes pride in advancing tools and processes that bolster staff confidence and ensure individual's safety, alongside community outreach initiatives that promote a broader public understanding of mental health.
As a trauma-informed, strengths-based leader, he directs program delivery with a focus on dignity, inclusion, and workforce support. He values collaboration, transparent communication, and pragmatic innovation, aiming to empower staff to assist individuals in leading fulfilling lives within their communities. In his capacity, he oversees the quality of services, mentors frontline personnel, and advocates for improvements centered on person-first outcomes.
