Seanna Csernyanszki
Team Coordinator
Seanna brings five years of experience within the agency, blending her background in addictions support with a deep commitment to person-centered practice. Grounded in empathy, dignity, and inclusivity, she is a passionate advocate for marginalized communities—believing in the power of autonomy and authentic connection in every facet of support.
Her journey began on the front lines, where hands-on and lived experiences shaped her understanding of meaningful support: relational, respectful, and responsive to each person’s unique story. Seanna’s transition into leadership—first as a Team Leader and now as Team Coordinator and KPS Trainer—grew from her hands-on experience, rooted in lived experience, trusted relationships, and a deep commitment to championing the voices, strengths, and rights of individuals whose stories deserve to be seen, heard, and valued.
After her time with B.C.’s Ministry of Children and Family Development, Seanna returned to Edmonton to rejoin Skills Society and give back to the community that shaped her.
Her leadership is grounded in trust and transparency. She creates space for honest, difficult conversations while championing approaches that reflect the layered realities of addiction, mental health, systemic inequities, and complex trauma.
At the heart of her work is a dedication to improving quality of life—believing change begins with connection, grows through collaboration, and is sustained by care. A lifelong learner, Seanna is always evolving—and when she’s not deep in thought or connection, she’s likely surrounded by cats and sipping from three beverages at once.
