Highway Cleanup

We're looking for volunteers!

On Saturday, May the 6th, Skills Society staff, people supported by Skills and friends of our organization will be cleaning up a stretch of highway to help raise some dollars for Skills Society Emergency Outreach Fund. This will be our second year participating in the Alberta Transportation fundraiser initiative and we are really looking forward to being a part of it again (the money we raised last year helped two individuals with disabilities move out of homeless shelters). All it takes is a few hours ofyour time and you get to work side by side some great citizens who appreciate tidy Highways and who also want to raise some money to help out people in need.

When: Saturday, May 6thTime: 10:00am (should only take a few hours, depending on number of volunteers)

Place: Stretch of highway 43 from highway 16 to 633

We hope you can help us out, even if it is just for a couple of hours - we would love to have you join us!If interested in volunteering or you need more information, please email Tiffany at tiffanyj@skillssociety.ca Thank you for your support  and we look forward to seeing you on May 6th!
