Join us for Skills Society’s 44th Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. This year’s theme, Community Living Roots: A Movement, Not a Moment, invites us to reflect on where we’ve been, celebrate where we are, and imagine where we’re going—together.

The AGM is always a meaningful time to connect, hear stories from across our community, and recognize some of the incredible people and moments that shaped the past year. Whether you're part of our team, a community partner, a friend or family member, or just someone curious to learn more, all are welcome.

Agenda Overview

  • Business Meeting: 5:15 PM – 5:45 PM
    We’ll kick things off with the formal business portion of the AGM, including the appointment of auditors and new board members and approval of the annual budget. Everyone is welcome to attend this portion, but if you'd rather join just for the celebration, we encourage arriving around 5:45 PM.

  • Settling In: 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM
    Grab a drink from the cash bar, enjoy some appetizers, and visit the CommuniTEA Van before we settle into the main event.

  • Stories & Celebration: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
    This is the heart of the evening. We'll share highlights from the past year, recognize award recipients, and reflect on the values and people that keep this movement rooted and growing.

  • Wrap Up: 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM
    Stick around for some informal connecting and conversation. The cash bar will remain open, and this is a great time to catch up with friends and meet new people.

RSVP Details

Appetizers and light refreshments will be available, so please RSVP by June 18 to help us plan accordingly.

Memberships will be available at the door.

  • Parking: Accessible parking is available in the lot directly in front of the venue.

  • Entrance: Barrier-free entrance with automatic doors.

  • Elevator: Located on the left as you enter the building.

  • Washrooms: Barrier-free, all-gender washroom located on the 3rd floor.
