We’re excited to share our 2026 annual report!
This year’s theme, We Build the Path by Travelling It, reflects a time of transition at Skills Society and across the broader systems shaping the lives of people with disabilities. It speaks to the reality that the path toward inclusion, belonging, and citizenship is not always clear or already laid out. More often, it is built through relationships, learning, persistence, and a willingness to keep moving even when the way forward is uncertain.
This report reflects on what it means to stay grounded in our values during times of change, and what we are holding onto as we navigate growing complexity, shifting systems, and new possibilities. Throughout the report, you’ll find citizenship stories, reflections, and examples of the work our staff, volunteers, community partners, and supporters are doing alongside people with disabilities to help build communities where people can live a good life and be seen, valued, and included.
